Acidulated Malt - Crushed 500g

Acidulated malt is used in certain beer styles, particularly pilsners and other light-coloured beers to reduce the pH of the wort. It should be used at between 1-5% of the total grain bill.

Reducing the pH can improve the mash efficiency, improve fermentation, increase flavour stability and lend a lighter colour to the finished beer.
